Chicken Wings

  • Baking powder 2.0 Tbsp
  • Salt 2.0 tsp
  • New Mexico chili powder 4.0 tsp
  • Cumin, toasted, ground 2.0 tsp
  • Pimentón 4.0 tsp
  • Chicken wings 2.0 lb

Wing Sauce

Assembly

  • Olive oil 1.0 oz
  • Cilantro, chopped 0.25 cup
  • Parsley leaves
  • Cilantro leaves
  • Red onion, thinly sliced 1.0 each
  1. Chicken Wings

    • Combine the baking powder, salt, chili powder, cumin, and pimentón in a small bowl. Mix well. Toss the chicken wings with the mixture until well coated. Place on baking sheet with a rack. Refrigerate overnight uncovered.
  2. Wing Sauce

    • Place the oil in a saucepot. Add the garlic and sauté until aromatic.
    • Add the juices and honey. Bring to a simmer; reduce the heat to low and let cook for 20 minutes stirring periodically. Remove from heat, stir in the Knorr® Professional Intense Flavor Citrus Fresh and Knorr® Professional Intense Flavor Charred Chili Heat. Let cool to room temperature.
  3. Assembly

    • Preheat a grill.
    • Combine the sauce and cilantro in a large bowl.
    • Toss the chicken wings with oil to coat. Place on a hot grill; cook turning periodically until charred on the exterior. Brush with the sauce when the wings are almost cooked through. Continue to grill until cooked completely and juices run clear.
    • Remove the chicken from the grill and toss with the remaining sauce. Add more Knorr Ultimate Flavor Citrus or Knorr Ultimate Flavor Heat if desired.
    • Garnish with parsley and cilantro leaves, and thin slices of onion. Drizzle with any leftover sauce.
