Prepare the Shrimp Paste

Shrimp paste 'kapi' 0.5 Tbsp

Shrimp, tiger prawns 8 each

Bitter beans 0.5 cup

Oyster sauce 1 tsp

Thai red chili, cut 5 each
Preparation

Prepare the Shrimp Paste
- Heat vegetable oil in a sauté pan. Add garlic and shrimp paste.
- Roast the crumbled shrimp paste in the pan until the color changes to a brown from the purplish appearance. Be careful not to burn the paste.

Finish the Dish
- Add the rest of the paste, shrimp, bitter beans and season with sugar, oyster sauce and fry together until fragrant and cooked. Garnish with the chili and serve with rice.
