Spicy Creole Shrimp
This simple shrimp dish gets a boost of bold spicy notes from Knorr Intense Flavors Charred Chili Heat. It comes together quickly, but develops flavor as if the sauce has been simmered for a long time.

Prepare the Sauce

Extra Virgin Olive Oil 0.5 cup

Onions, small dice 3.0 cups

Celery, small dice 1.5 cups

Red bell pepper, small dice 1.5 cups

Garlic, chopped 0.25 cup

White wine 1.0 cup

Tomato sauce 1.5 cups

Filtered water, room temperature 1.5 cups

Black pepper, freshly ground 1.0 tsp
Prepare the Shrimp

Shrimp (26/30) peeled and deveined, tail-on 4.0 lbs

Extra virgin olive oil, as needed

Prepare the Sauce
- Pre-heat saucepan over medium heat. Add oil, onions, celery and red pepper. Cook until they are soft/translucent, then add garlic and cook for another minute. Add the wine and reduce it by half, then add the tomato sauce, water, and Knorr Intense Flavors Charred Chili HEAT.Season with Caldo de Camaron and black pepper.
- Bring the sauce to a slow simmer and cook for 25 minutes, without boiling. Adjust seasonings with salt and pepper as needed. Set sauce aside. Add additional Knorr Intense Flavors heat to increase spice if desired.

Prepare the Shrimp
- Pre-heat sauté pan over medium heat. For each order, add oil and 10 shrimp. Season with Caldo de Camaron and black pepper. Cook for about 30 seconds. Flip the shrimp and add 6 oz. of the sauce directly to the pan. Cook another 30 seconds and serve.
- Offer 2 sides to create a meal such as white rice, sweet potatoes, broccoli, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, etc.
- Use a proper container that can hold sauce.
