Seared Tofu

Assembling the Bowl

  • Wakame 0.5 cup
  • Edamame, beans, cooked 0.5 cups
  • Red peppers, julienned 0.25 cup
  • Yellow Bell Peppers, julienned 0.25 cups
  • Red Cabbage, julienned 0.25 cup
  • European Cucumber, sliced 0.25 cup
  • Scallions, sliced 0.25 cup
  • Toasted Sesame seeds 1.0 Tbsp

  1. Noodles & Dressing

    • Place the noodles on a large S/S Bowl, cover with water & mix in the baking soda. Let them soak for 10 minutes & rinse over cold water, utilizing a colander. Set aside for plating.
    • Using a blender; combine the rest of the ingredients and pour dressing over the noodles.
  2. Seared Tofu

    • Preheat a large non-stick pan and start with oil, followed by the sliced tofu. Sear the tofu, until lightly browned & add the rest of the ingredients to the pan. Now lower the heat & simmer sauce, until its ½ way absorbed by the tofu. Set aside for plating.  
  3. Assembling the Bowl

    • Plate the bowl with the sauced noodles, followed by the bowl components and the seared tofu.
