  • Brussels sprouts 2.5 lb
  • Vegetable oil 0.25 cup
  • Kosher salt 1.5 tsp
  • Black pepper, freshly ground 0.75 tsp

Cooking the brussel sprouts

This dish is a delicious way to incorporate seasonal vegetables into your menu while offering a bold and unique flavor profile. Perfect as a side dish or appetizer.



  1. Cooking the brussel sprouts

    10 minutes
    • Heat oven to 400 degrees.
    • Trim bottom of brussels sprouts. Then, slice each in half top to bottom. 
    • Toss brussel sprouts with vegetable oli, salt and pepper. Arrange sprouts cut side down in one layer on a sheet pan.
    TIP: Remove any yellow outer leaves from brussel sprouts when trimming.  
  2. Cooking the brussel sprouts

    40 minutes
    • Roast for 35 to 40 minutes, until crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Shake the pan from time to time to brown the sprouts evenly.
    • Remove from oven and sprinkle with salt.
    • Serve immediately with a side of Hellman's Vegan Mayonnaise.
