Cooking the cake

This rich and indulgent chocolate cake is made with mayonnaise, which adds a moist and decadent texture to every bite. 



  1. Cooking the cake

    45 minutes.
    • Preheat oven to 350F.
    • Mix the Hellmann’s Vegan mayonnaise, sugar, and vanilla together in a large mixing bowl.
    • In a separate bowl, sift the flour, cocoa, and baking soda together.
    • Combine flour mixture, mayonnaise mixture, and cold water together.
    • Pour batter into a 9x9 greased baking pan. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
    • Ice with chocolate frosting.
    TIP: Serve with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream or whip cream and strawberries.
