Beef And Chorizo Burger
Give your classic burger a mexican twist. This burger recipe is enhanced with the sweet smoked flavor of the chorizo sausage. Served with Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise mixed with garlic and herbs to make a traditional chimichurri.

Ingredients per serving
For the burger patty:

Ground Beef 2.5 lb

Ground chorizo 1.25 lb

Salt
For the chimichurri mayonnaise:

Flat-leaf parsley 2.0 cup

Cilantro 1.0 cup

Jalapeno, seeded, minced 1.0 each

Garlic 3.0 cloves

Sherry Vinegar 1.0 Tbsp
For the burger:

Brioche bun 10.0 pieces

Cheese, gouda 10.0 slices

Little gem lettuce 10.0 leaves

Beefsteak tomatoes 10.0 slices

Onions, red 10.0 slices
Preparation

For the burger patty:
Combine the ground beef, chorizo and salt and form into 10 (6 oz) patties. -
For the chimichurri mayonnaise:
Combine the parsley, cilantro, jalapeno, garlic and sherry vinegar in a food processor. Pulse until finely chopped. Add mayonnaise and pulse until incorporated. Season with salt. -
For the burger:
1. Grill the burger patty.2. When the burger is cooked and is resting, add the Gouda cheese and grill the cheese on top and the bun at the same time.3. Place the beefsteak tomato and little gem lettuce on the base of the bun.4. Place the burger patty on then top then the red onion.5. Top with the Chimichirri Mayonnaise and place the burger bun on top.
