Prepare The Dish

  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Knorr Beef Flavor Gravy, prepared 1 qt
  • Sweet potatoes, peeled, shredded 10 ea
  • Clarified Butter 5 oz
  • Oil 5 oz
  • Beets, roasted, ginger-seasoned 30 oz
  • Pecan pieces, toasted 1 cup
  • Goat cheese, crumbled 1 cup

Prepare Ginger-seasoned Roasted Beets

  • Beets 8 each
  • Oil 2 T
  • Ginger, ground, to taste
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  1. Prepare The Dish

    • Season prepared gravy to taste with salt and black pepper; reserve warm. Sauté (12 oz.) sweet potatoes to order in mix of (0.5 oz. ea.) clarified butter and oil until tender.
    • Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
    • Top sweet potato hash browns with (3 oz.) beets, (3 oz. ladle) gravy, (1-1/2 tsp.) pecans and (1-1/2 tbsp.) goat cheese.
    • Serve immediately.
  2. Prepare Ginger-seasoned Roasted Beets

    • Rub beets with oil and roast in 400°F oven for 1 hour or until tender.
    • Peel and dice.
    • Seasoned beets to taste with remaining ingredients.
    • Reserve.
