At Unilever, we believe sustainability is critical to the continued success of our business, your business and to the environment and society we live in. So we’re proud to announce new packaging innovations in our Hellmann’s® dressing. These changes go a long way towards making these great brands into even better corporate citizens.

Hellmann’s® believes small steps can make a big difference when it comes to sustainability. That’s why we’ve removed a few grams of packaging material in our Salad Bar Bottle. This change saves approximately 5 lbs. per pallet, or almost 800 lbs. of material waste (about the weight of a mid-size SUV). Not to worry, these changes to reduce waste have not changed the amount of Hellmann’s® Dressings in our Salad Bar Bottle (32 FL. OZ.).

In addition to the changes made on the Hellmann’s® Salad Bar Bottles, we’ve removed the spout off of our portion control dressings. This small step makes a big difference by saving approximately 50 tons of packaging material per year, the amount of trash in over 4 garbage trucks.
