Apple Raisin Bread Stuffing

Preparation

1. In a sauce pan, saute the onion, apple, celery and raisins for 10 minutes. Add the poultry seasoning, thyme and chicken base and saute 1 minute to blend. Add water and simmer for 10 minutes to plump the raisins. Add the croutons to the vegetable mixture, stir to combine, add the eggs and stir to blend thoroughly. Bake in a shallow pan for 45 minutes covered at 350deg.F, remove cover and bake additional 15 minutes until top is golden brown.
