Arroz Con Pollo (Chicken and Rice)

| 0.50 | tsp | Garlic(1) minced |
| 0.30 | lb | Onions, white chopped |
| 3.00 | cup | Rice, white |
| 3.00 | floz | Knorr® Professional Liquid Concentrated Chicken Flavor Base 4 x 32 OZ |
| 2.00 | qt | Water |
| 0.50 | cup | Black olives, canned whole, pitted - OPTIONAL |
| 1.00 | cup | Green peas cooked - OPTIONAL |
| Black pepper, ground to taste |
Preparation
disolve hot water and Liquid Chicken Base...set aside
1. Heat olive oil and brown chicken on all sides. Remove and pour off drippings except 3 Tablespoons.
2. In same pan, saute garlic and onions until onions are transparent. Add rice and saute for 2 minutes. Add prepared Base and bring to a boil.
3. To the rice mixture return the chicken and simmer until rice is done.
4. Garnish with olives or peas. This dish should be soupy.
