Turkey Sausage and Lentil Soup

| 2.00 | cup | Onion, yellow chopped fine |
| 2.00 | cup | Carrots chopped fine |
| 2.00 | qt | Knorr Ultimate Turkey Base |
| 1.00 | lb | Red lentils , cooked |
| 1.00 | tbsp | Sage fresh, chopped |
| Kosher salt and cracked pepper to season |
Preparation
1. Melt butter in soup pot, sauté the turkey sausage until golden. Remove the sausage and drain excess fat.
2. Saute the onions until caramelized. Add the carrots and cook until tender. Add the turkey broth, lentils and sausage. Let cook for 10 min. Fold in the sage. Simmer for 5 min. Taste and adjust seasoning.
