Marinated Asparagus Salad with Goat Cheese

4.00ozOnions , thinly sliced
1.00ozCorn syrup
0.50ozVinegar
  Celery Seed , pinch
  Black Pepper , pinch
1.00xRoma tomato , julienned

10.00ozCheese, goat

Preparation

1. Place onions in a pan with corn syrup, vinegar, celery seed and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook 4 minutes with low hear until onions are wilted. Remove from heat and cool.
2. Combine asparagus, balsamic vinaigrette, onions, tomatoes. Blend well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Top with goat cheese and serve.
