Caramelized Onion and Gruyere Burger

| 1.00 | oz | Sugar |
| 8.00 | oz | Ground beef patty , 4 oz each |
| 2.00 | oz | Gruyere cheese |
| 2.00 | pc | green leaf lettuce |
| 4.00 | oz | Hellmann's Real Red Pepper Basil Sauce |
| 2.00 | x | Hamburger buns , whole wheat, toasted |
Preparation
In medium saute pan, heat oil over medium heat until hot but not smoking. Reduce heat to medium-low; stire in onions and sugar. Saute, stirring frequently, 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned. Keep warm.
Grill or broil beef patties until desired temperature. When patties are nearly cooked, top each with 1 oz Gruyere. Cover or place under salamander until cheese melts.
Spread 1 bun evenly with 2 tbsp Hellmann's Real red Bell Pepper Basil Sauce. On bottom of bun, place leaf lettuce, 1 ground beef patty; top with 2 oz caramelized onions. Replace top of bun; repeat with remaining burger. Serve immediately.
