8.00tspHELLMANN'S ® Real Mayonnaise
1.00tbspOlive oil
40.00ozOnions, shallots , thinly sliced
0.33cupLight Brown Sugar
2.00ozVinegar, local white , or white balsamic
1.00tbspThyme , fresh, chopped
8.00ozHellmann's or BestFoods Real Mayonnaise
1.50tspBlack Pepper , freshly ground

Preparation

Prepare Shallot Marmalade: In medium saucepan, heat oil over medium heat until hot but not smoking. Stir in shallots; reduce heat to low. Cover and cook until shallots have softened, about 20 minutes. Add brown sugar, vinegar and thyme; cook, uncovered about 15 minutes or until mixture is thickened. Cool, stirring occasionally.

Prepare Black pepper Mayonnaise: In small bowl, combine 8 oz Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise with 1.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper; reserve.

Grill burgers until desired temperature is reached. When burgers have nearly finish cooking, top with 1 slice cheese. Cover and continue cooking until cheese melts.

Spread 1 bun evenly with Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise; grill until lightly browned. Spread with 2 Tbsp. Black Pepper Mayonnaise. Top with burger and 2 oz Shallot Marmalade. Repeat to make 8 burgers. Serve immediately.
