Crunchy Apple and Tuna Salad Sandwich

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 each submarine roll, split
  • ½ oz. (1 leaf) green leaf lettuce
  • 1 oz. (2 slices) Roma tomato, thinly sliced
  • ½ oz. (2 rings) red onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 oz. Apple Tuna Salad
Method:
  1. Layer bottom of roll with lettuce, tomato, onion and Apple Tuna Salad.
  2. Replace top of roll; serve immediately or refrigerate until service.
 

Apple Tuna Salad

Yield: 1½ lbs.

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz. chunk albacore tuna, drained
  • 4 oz. Hellmann’s Light® Mayonnaise
  • 4 oz. celery, diced
  • 4 oz. unpeeled Granny Smith apple, finely diced
  • 2 each green onions, sliced
  • ½ oz. basil, chiffonade
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method:

  1. In medium bowl, combine all ingredients. Keep refrigerated until service.
