*Compared to our previous recipe. In an Institute of Medicine (IOM) report, analysts estimate population-wide reductions in sodium could prevent more than 100,000 deaths annually. The IOM report states the goal is to “slowly, over time, reduce the sodium content of the food supply in a way that goes unnoticed by most consumers.” This is also our goal, and we’ve made good progress by reducing sodium in our most popular sauces and gravies. We anticipate that our sodium reduction will remove 44 tons of salt from our products within a year.
