Preparation

Ready-To-Serve. Do Not Dilute. Do not thaw at room temperature. Immerse unopened bag (frozen or thawed) into boiling water. Heat product to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. When product reaches 180 degrees Fahrenheit, it is ready to serve. The bag will appear expanded. Carefully, grasp bag at pre-formed slots and remove from water. OPENING BAG: Make a cut with scissors or a knife, above the product line (in air space). Grasp bottom edge of bag and pour into container. Caution: A glove or towel may be used to protect hands from heat. Hold product between 160 degrees Fahrenheit and 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Reusing Product: Minimize leftovers whenever possible. Unopened bags should be cooled rapidly in ice water. Cool product from opened bags in shallow pan to under 40 degrees Fahrenheit in less than 3 hours. Refrigerate product and use within 24 hours. Refrigerated Shelf Life in Bag: Completely thawed, unopened bags of sauce have a three-day refrigerated shelf life.
